The Chairman of the Albanian National Council, Enkel Rexhepi, announced that he received a summons today from the Serbian court regarding the display of the Albanian national flag at the official institution representing Albanians in the Presheva Valley.
In a post on Facebook, Rexhepi stressed that this action constitutes clear evidence of institutional pressure against Albanians in Presheva, adding:
“The flag is treated as a violation, while discrimination is treated as state policy. We will not withdraw. Dignity is not on trial,” he wrote.
Rexhepi reaffirmed his determination to defend the rights and dignity of the Albanian community in the region, despite ongoing institutional challenges.
