Riho Terras, the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Kosovo, is holding closed-door meetings with political representatives from the Serb community in northern Kosovo. These meetings are taking place at the House of Europe in the northern part of Mitrovica.

After the discussions, Terras will visit the village of Varagë in Zubin Potok, where he will assess the Ibër-Lepenc Canal, which was the target of the November 29th attack.

This marks Terras’ first visit to Kosovo since his appointment as the new rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, succeeding former rapporteur Viola von Cramon.

Earlier on Monday, he was welcomed by President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
