Branislav Ristivojević, advisor to the president of the New Democratic Party of Serbia (Novi DSS), sharply criticized the current Serbian government, describing its policies as “amateurish in foreign affairs, damaging to the economy, criminal in internal governance, and traitorous in constitutional and legal matters.”

Ristivojević remarked that President Aleksandar Vučić and Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić appear to foreign states as a comedic duo, “Laurel and Hardy.” He added that Western actors have found a weak personality in Serbia willing to carry out these tasks, citing the closure of universities and educational institutions in Kosovo and Metohija as a recent example.

Commenting on agricultural protests in Serbia, Ristivojević blamed the liberalization of foreign trade with the European Union, pointing out that EU farmers continue to receive large subsidies, while Serbian agriculture struggles to compete. He warned that livestock production is declining, posing risks to domestic milk supply, and criticized the narrative that Europe is giving aid to Serbia, arguing instead that the country is losing revenue from tariffs and gradually dismantling domestic production.

During a podcast hosted by the “Slobodan Jovanović” Foundation titled “Politika na srpskom”, Ristivojević also stated that the Serbian government is surrounded by loyalists who disregard laws, professional ethics, and moral standards, focusing solely on obedience to the will of a single leader.
