The Cycling Federation of Kosovo has announced that due to the holding of national cycling races, there will be temporary closures of several major roads in the country on June 20 and 21, 2025.
The race schedule and road closures are as follows:
On June 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the “Arben Xhaferi” highway, from the Lipjan entry/exit to the Bibaj entry/exit (Prishtina – Hani i Elezit direction), will be temporarily closed to traffic.
On June 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the second day of the race will take place along the following route:
“Arben Xhaferi” Highway – Bibaj entry/exit – Babush – Lipjan – Prishtina (Uglar) – Bresje – National Road N9 to Gjergjicë – “Ibrahim Rugova” Highway – Malishevë – Duhel, and return.
The Kosovo Police have confirmed they will be on the ground to manage safety and traffic, urging citizens to use alternative routes during these hours to avoid delays.
