The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, spoke following yesterday’s meeting with President Vjosa Osmani.
In a statement on X, Rohde said he raised his concern over the ongoing political and institutional deadlock in the country.
He also emphasized that recent public discourse, which casts doubt on court decisions, poses a risk to citizens’ trust in the independence and integrity of the justice system, reports Klankosova.tv.
“I thank President Osmani for the constructive discussion. During the meeting, I expressed my concern over the political and institutional deadlock, as well as the public discourse casting doubts on judicial decisions—developments that risk undermining citizens’ confidence in the independence and integrity of the judiciary,” Rohde wrote.
