The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, spoke following his meeting yesterday with President Vjosa Osmani.
In a statement on platform X, Rohde said he raised his concerns regarding the ongoing political and institutional blockade in the country.
He also emphasized that recent public discourse, which casts doubt on court decisions, poses a risk to citizens’ trust in the independence and integrity of the justice system.
“I thank Madam President for the constructive discussion. During the meeting, I expressed my concern about the political and institutional deadlock, as well as the public discourse that questions judicial decisions—developments that risk undermining citizens’ trust in the independence and integrity of the judiciary,” Rohde wrote.
