He wrote that the perpetrators of the attack must face justice and called for progress in dialogue.

“Ensuring the security and well-being of all communities in Kosovo is vital. The perpetrators must be held accountable. This incident highlights the need for substantial progress in the EU-facilitated dialogue,” wrote Rohde.

The newest Kosovo Post branch in the predominantly Serb-populated north became the target of a grenade attack. Senior officials have labeled the act as terrorist. The office in Zveçan, which authorities said had opened on Friday, had its windows and main entrance shattered due to the attack that occurred last night.

According to the Kosovo Police, the hand grenades were thrown on Tuesday, shortly after midnight. Material damage was caused by the explosion of one grenade, while the other, which was noticed by police officers, was detonated in a controlled manner by the specialized unit for handling explosive devices.
