Tomas Rosicky, Czech football legend and sporting director of Sparta Prague, has spoken in glowing terms about Albion Rrahmani, the Kosovo national team striker who is shining in the Czech league.

In an interview with Czech media, Rosicky revealed that major European clubs had shown interest in Rrahmani, but the player decided to continue his journey with Sparta.

“You can already see that clubs from the top five leagues were interested in him. However, there was never any debate from either side about him not continuing here,” Rosicky stated.

He emphasized that Rrahmani is undergoing an important phase of development, facing a more physical and aggressive style of play, which he believes will make him even stronger.

“Albion has gone through important situations that he hadn’t experienced elsewhere. Now he is stronger. He will be hit, he will be kicked, but his strengths are clear. Last season we expected more from him, but now he is showing himself,” the sporting director added.

Rrahmani has scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist in 8 matches this season, establishing himself as one of the Czech club’s most important players.
