The elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, is assembling his team to lead America for the next four years. One of the most discussed positions has been that of Secretary of State, with various names circulating in the media, including Richard Grenell.
However, it seems that Grenell will not be on Trump’s list for Secretary of State. The position will likely go to Marco Rubio, who is expected to succeed Antony Blinken.
This was confirmed by Robert O’Brien, a former National Security Advisor and a colleague of Richard Grenell in the Trump administration.
O’Brien posted on his “X” profile that Trump is gathering all the key figures from foreign policy and national security for his team.
“O’Brien mentioned Elise Stefanik being selected for Ambassador to the United Nations, Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, and Michael Waltz for National Security Advisor.”
