U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed journalists following a meeting with other foreign ministers at the G7 summit in France.

When asked whether the United States is considering deploying troops to the Middle East as part of efforts to neutralize Iran, Rubio declined to discuss specific military tactics.

He emphasized, however, that the U.S. has clear objectives and said, “We are very confident that we are on the verge of achieving them very soon.”

Regarding the expected duration of the American operation in Iran, Rubio stated, “We are talking about weeks, not months.”
