Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that the restoration of the residence of the late Kosovo president, Ibrahim Rugova, is nearing completion.
“With the restoration interventions nearing completion, the Residence of the historic President Ibrahim Rugova will continue to preserve the memory of one of the most important periods of our people,” Kurti wrote on Facebook.
“Today, we were there to closely observe the results of the work so far. The restoration is being led by professional teams in respect of the values that this house holds, which is part of the heritage assets protected by law.”
“Our commitment to cultural heritage has already been demonstrated. In this context, we are ensuring that as state institutions, we maintain respect for the central figures of Kosovo’s modern history.”
