The Central Election Commission (CEC) has issued detailed instructions on how citizens can vote by mail in the upcoming runoff elections on November 9, 2025.
“How to vote by mail for the second round of municipal mayoral elections – November 9, 2025. Check the guidelines and learn how to complete and send your ballot by post. The envelope must be sent no later than November 8, 2025,” the CEC announcement stated.
Kosovo will hold the second round of local elections in 18 municipalities, including: Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragash, Kaçanik, Klinë, Fushë Kosovë, South Mitrovica, Obiliq, Rahovec, Peja, Prishtina, Prizren, Suharekë, Viti, Vushtrri, Junik, Mamusha, and Kllokot.
The total number of eligible voters in these municipalities for the second round stands at 1,346,397 citizens.
