The Kremlin has labeled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington as a “complete diplomatic failure” for Kyiv, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
Zakharova accused Zelensky of being a global threat and an irresponsible instigator of war. “With his exceptionally rude behavior during his stay in Washington, Zelensky confirmed that he is the most dangerous threat to the global community as an irresponsible provocateur of a major war,” she stated, as reported by the BBC.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has yet to make an official statement regarding Zelensky’s meeting in the Oval Office.
