On July 6, the Russian military killed two residents and injured eight others in the Donetsk region.
This was stated in a Facebook post by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, as reported by Ukrinform.
“On July 6, the Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region: in New York and Ukrainsk. Eight other people were injured in the region over the past day,” said the regional governor.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, at least 2,066 people have been killed and 5,325 others have been injured in the Donetsk region. These figures do not include victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Nazar Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, stated that Russian troops are trying to increase the number of active frontline areas in the Donetsk region.
