Russia Strikes Ukraine with Drones, Four Killed and Widespread Damage Reported

Russia has launched a new wave of drone attacks against Ukraine, killing four people and causing significant damage to key infrastructure, including gas production facilities, residential buildings, a maternity hospital, and the port of Odesa.

Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia deployed 273 drones, of which 252 were intercepted, while 21 struck targets across 18 locations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the attack as “pure terror against civilian life.”

The governor of Odesa, Oleh Kiper, reported two fatalities and 12 injuries, including a child. Additional casualties were recorded in the regions of Poltava Oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
