“The Russian and Ukrainian sides will exchange 175 prisoners on March 19,” stated the Kremlin.
Meanwhile, the White House confirmed that Trump and Putin agreed to a 30-day ceasefire concerning Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure. Peace negotiations aimed at ending the conflict will begin “immediately” and will be held in the Middle East.
The White House praised the “significant benefits of improved relations” between the U.S. and Russia, marking a potential step toward de-escalation in the ongoing war.
