Russia’s Foreign Ministry has accused Western countries and NATO of direct and indirect involvement in what it calls “terrorist attacks” by Ukraine targeting civilian infrastructure inside Russian territory, according to Sky News.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova claimed that Western nations are supplying Kyiv with weapons and providing coordinates for strikes. These accusations come amid rising tensions and continued cross-border drone and missile attacks in recent weeks.

Western countries are complicit by arming Ukraine and assisting in targeting operations,” Zakharova said in a briefing, without presenting specific evidence to support the claims.

Russia Warns: “All Options Are on the Table”

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov issued a stern warning, saying that “all options are on the table” in response to what Moscow perceives as escalations backed by NATO allies.

Any further decisions will be made by the Ministry of Defense,” Ryabkov added, suggesting potential military or cyber responses could be under consideration.

Ukraine Denies Civilian Targeting

In response, Ukrainian officials denied targeting civilians, reaffirming that their military operations inside Russia focus solely on strategic assets such as intelligence hubs and logistical centers.

We are not targeting civilians. Our operations aim only at military and intelligence facilities,” said a Ukrainian military source.

This latest exchange of accusations underscores the deepening geopolitical rift and increasingly blurred lines between conventional warfare and asymmetric tactics in the Russia–Ukraine conflict.
