Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has just announced that Russian and American diplomats will meet on Thursday in Istanbul.
Both delegations will discuss “systemic problems” in the functioning of their respective embassies, Lavrov said at a press conference in Qatar, according to the AFP news agency.
A possible meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin has been discussed after Trump called Putin to discuss negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. No date has been set yet, according to BBC.
