Russian Missile and Drone Attack on Kyiv Kills Four, Injures Dozens

At least four people have been killed and dozens more injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, according to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

The strikes hit residential areas, hospitals, and sports infrastructure. A multi-story building in the Shevchenkivskyi district was partially destroyed. Ukrainian emergency services reported 13 injured, including two children and a pregnant woman, in the city. In the wider Kyiv region, one woman was killed and two others were injured during the airstrikes.

Damage was also sustained at the entrances of several underground metro stations, where many residents had spent the night sheltering. The Russian military has not commented on the incident.
