Major General Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy and commander of a brigade fighting against Ukraine, has been killed in Russia’s Kursk region. This was announced by Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of a Russian Far Eastern region, via Telegram, as reported by The Guardian.

Earlier, unofficial Russian and Ukrainian military Telegram channels had reported that Gudkov was killed along with 10 other soldiers in a Ukrainian attack on a command post in Korenevo, located in the Kursk region, which borders Ukraine, Reuters added.
