NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during a visit to Kyiv, stated that the alliance’s support for Ukraine remains “unwavering” and “continually growing.”

He said that the security guarantees being prepared for Ukraine will be based on two main pillars: strengthening the Ukrainian armed forces and concrete commitments from the United States and European countries to prevent any future aggression from Russia.

“We are working together – Ukraine, Europeans, and the United States – to ensure that these security guarantees are of such a level that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, sitting in Moscow, will never attempt to attack Ukraine again,” Rutte declared at a press conference.

He added that following the long-awaited meeting at the White House on Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed active U.S. involvement in providing these guarantees.
