The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who is currently in Brussels for the 6th Intergovernmental Conference between Albania and the European Union, is scheduled to hold a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The announcement was made through an official statement published on NATO’s website.
“On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, NATO Secretary General Mr. Mark Rutte will host the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, at NATO Headquarters in Brussels,” the statement reads.
The meeting is expected to focus on regional security, NATO–Albania relations, and Albania’s role within the Alliance, especially in light of the current geopolitical climate.
