The Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, along with ambassadors from the North Atlantic Council, will visit Kosovo today, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
For this reason, the Kosovo Police has announced that several roads in the capital will be closed to traffic due to the NATO chief’s visit.
“The Kosovo Police, during this visit, will ensure the maintenance of public order and safety during the movement of the escort and the delegation’s stay in the Republic of Kosovo.”
“To allow for the smooth movement of the escort according to the itinerary and to carry out the activities as per the visit’s agenda, the Kosovo Police will temporarily interrupt traffic flow (for short intervals) on certain road segments (where the escort is expected to pass) and near government buildings. Traffic will be redirected to alternative routes. Therefore, the Kosovo Police requests full understanding from citizens and participants in traffic,” reads the police announcement.
