The organization “SafeJournalist,” which focuses on the protection of journalists and freedom of expression in the Western Balkans, has reacted to the scandalous decision of the Independent Media Commission (KPM), where the regulation was changed, and a new chairman was elected before the mandate of the current chairman had expired.
According to “SafeJournalist,” with this decision, the Independent Media Commission has taken a dangerous step toward politicizing an independent institution.
