Granit Xhaka and his Switzerland ended their Euro 2024 adventure at the quarter-final stage after failing to go beyond after the clash with England.
The Helvetii were eliminated only after the penalty kick, as once again, the midfielder of Albanian origin was one of the best on the field, despite playing with a muscle problem.
After the match, Bukayo Saka declared that he greatly admired Granit Xhaka, stressing that he was a wonderful man.
“Granite has won many trophies this season. He is a great player, but above all a wonderful man. The humility he showed after the game when he came and met us all says a lot about his character.
