New Democracy Party MP Lefteris Avgenakis and former Minister of Agriculture in the neighboring country assaults an Athens airport employee after he told him it was too late to board the plane as the gate was closed.
The deputy went to the counter, threatening the employee and asking him to account for how he had allowed the take-off of the plane that was traveling to Crete at a time when he was not on the plane.
According to what the Greek media write, the employee had called the name of the former minister and member of the Greek parliament three times before closing the gate and leaving the plane.
The 22-year-old airport worker has filed criminal charges against Mitsotakis’ party MP, but Lefteris Avgenakis says he has immunity.
