The Kosovo Search and Rescue Association has officially concluded an emergency operation in the municipality of Kaçanik, which, tragically, ended with the loss of a life.
In a formal statement, the association confirmed that the body of the victim was retrieved in close cooperation with the relevant authorities.
“We express our deepest condolences to the family of the victim,” the statement read.
The victim, 26-year-old Ideal Halabaku from Pozheran, died following a suspected accident on the “Arbën Xhaferi” highway, in which he reportedly fell from a bridge after the incident.
Vitia’s Mayor, Sokol Halili, also extended condolences through a telegram to the Halabaku family:
“With deep sorrow, I received the news of the tragic and untimely death of young Ideal Halabaku, who left this life in a painful way, leaving behind immense grief for his family, friends, and all our society.
On behalf of myself and the Municipality of Vitia, I express my sincerest condolences to the Halabaku family, relatives, friends, and all those who knew Ideal.”
