The team of the Search and Rescue Association participated in an advanced professional training organized by the U.S. KFOR, focusing on the development of land navigation skills, topographic map reading, and field survival techniques.

During this intensive training, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in compass orientation, identifying topographic features, and planning safe movements in unfamiliar areas. The program also included practical survival modules, covering natural resource management, locating safe points, constructing temporary shelters, and basic emergency signaling and communication procedures.

The association reported that this training significantly enhanced the team’s professionalism and readiness to operate in diverse terrains, strengthening operational capacities and cooperation with their U.S. KFOR partners.

“Our team participated in specialized training organized by U.S. KFOR, focusing on essential skills in land navigation, topographic map reading, and basic field survival techniques.
