The United States is on high alert following American airstrikes against Iran.
Federal authorities and leaders in several major cities and states from New York to Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.are enhancing security and closely monitoring potential threats after the U.S. raids, reports ANSA.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stated that resources are fully committed and that vigilance remains high.
“Our resources are fully engaged. We remain vigilant. God bless America and all who defend her,” Bongino wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Meanwhile, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem also posted on X, confirming that law enforcement is on high alert.
“We will work unceasingly to protect the American homeland.
Thank you President @realDonaldTrump.
In God We Trust.”

The heightened alert comes amid fears of potential retaliatory attacks following intensifying conflict between the U.S. and Iran, triggered by a new phase of military escalation in the Middle East.
