Serb Arrested in Northern Kosovo for Harassment and Threatening Arson

A 36-year-old Serbian man, Zivojin Ivković, was arrested in Mitrovica North after allegedly harassing women in the street and threatening to set fire to a local business. The incident took place near the “Car Lazar” square.

According to sources from IndeksOnline, Ivković was apprehended by the police just meters away from the scene. During his arrest, officers seized a knife, a bottle of alcohol, and his personal documents.

A witness reported that Ivković attempted to prevent the police from being called. Furthermore, he had been harassing several women on Çlirimi street, leading to a ticket being issued under the Public Order and Safety Act.

It was also confirmed that Ivković was under the influence of alcohol. He was placed in detention for 48 hours, and a case of “threatening” was initiated by the prosecutor.
