Under the Serbian national anthem, the Serb List officially launched its election campaign today in North Mitrovica.

The party leader, Zlatan Elek, stated that on October 12, citizens, according to him, will be “liberated from Kurti’s illegitimate mayors” in northern municipalities.

“Only united can we free our city from Kurti’s fake, illegal, and illegitimate mayors. For this reason, I ask you to call all your neighbors, friends, relatives, and godparents on October 12 to say that the countdown has begun and that we are moving toward the liberation of our city. United, we can win and save our city. And finally, I want to say—Long live Serb List, long live our people, and above all, long live Serbia,” Elek said.

The Serb List candidate for mayor of North Mitrovica is Milan Radojević.

Meanwhile, Ivan Zaporozhac, a member of the Serb List and leader of its councilor list in North Mitrovica, said they fulfilled a promise by preventing the formation of a government from Pristina.

“We have fulfilled our promise. We did not allow a government to be formed in Pristina, and our deputies remain there with dignity, supporting the will of our people that Kurti cannot rule over us,” he stated.
