The interrogation of Zlatan Elek, head of the Serb List and a Member of Parliament in the Assembly of Kosovo, which was scheduled for June 18, has been postponed to a later date.
The news was confirmed by Arbnora Luta, spokesperson for the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo. Luta stated that the interrogation was postponed due to the “health reasons of Elek’s lawyer.”
Elek was summoned by the Prosecution as part of investigations related to the erection of barricades in the northern part of Kosovo at the end of 2022. He is being investigated for the criminal offenses of: “Obstruction of an official person in performing official duties,” “Call for resistance,” and “Association for unconstitutional activity.”
In connection with this case, the Prosecution has also issued invitations for interrogation to other Serb List officials, including MP Igor Simić and other associates.
