Another Serbian citizen has been arrested today during the Vidovdan commemoration at Gazimestan, on the outskirts of Prishtina a site where traditional gatherings and memorial events are held annually by the Serbian community.
The individual in question provoked the crowd by brandishing a plastic pistol, leading to an immediate response by the Kosovo Police, who swiftly detained the suspect to prevent further escalation.
Earlier today, IndeksOnline also reported the arrest of another individual, who was seen wearing a T-shirt featuring the image of Aleksandar Arsenijević, a suspect wanted for war crimes. That individual is also suspected of obstructing police officers during the execution of their official duties.
Authorities have significantly stepped up their security presence around Gazimestan due to sensitivities surrounding the Vidovdan commemorations and the potential for provocative acts.
