One year after the terrorist attack in Banjskë, Zveçan, some Serbian residents of this village stated that they feel safe due to the presence of the Kosovo Police.
“I don’t know anything. I feel safe here. I don’t know anything,” said a Serbian resident. Another resident told RTV21 that he feels secure in the north and believes they can live well regardless of nationality.
“It’s not bad, but it could be better. We help each other as much as we can. I feel safe; I can’t say otherwise. At the moment, the situation is safe, and we feel secure. We’re not afraid because the police are here. It could be even better, but it’s good like this. God forbid, let the Banjskë attack not happen again. What happened, happened. We have the opportunity to live better, regardless of nationality,” said one resident.
