Serbia’s Office for Kosovo has issued a press release today, Wednesday, alleging that Kosovar authorities have detained a Serbian police official. This individual reportedly resides in the Municipality of Kamenica and is employed by the Police Directorate in Vranje, Serbia.
According to the communiqué, the police official was initially detained at the Konçul border crossing and subsequently transferred to Pristina.
“The Office for Kosovo has offered him legal assistance and will inform international representatives about yet another illegal detention and expulsion of a Serb employed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” the statement reads.
