Serbia’s chief negotiator, Petar Petkovic, has responded after the German ambassador to Kosovo stated that Serbia interfered in the February 9 elections in Kosovo.

Rohde also quoted the head of the European Union Election Observation Mission in Kosovo, Nathalie Loiseau.

“These attacks and campaigns go beyond Serbia’s borders. As the head of the Mission, Nathalie Loiseau, has emphasized, Serbia interfered in the elections in Kosovo by seeking votes for the Serb List. At the same time, Serbia baselessly accuses Kosovo of supporting protests in Serbia, without any evidence,” Rohde wrote on the social media platform Bluesky.

In response to this, Petkovic said that Rohde “has placed himself in the position of a spokesperson for Albin Kurti.”

“He has put himself in the position of a spokesperson, specifically for Albin Kurti, repeating disinformation while ignoring the obvious facts,” Petkovic said yesterday.
