Serbia Protest Expected Tomorrow, Citizens Urged to Avoid Jarinjë Border Crossing

The National Border Management Center, operating under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, has urged citizens to avoid traveling through the Jarinjë Border Crossing on Saturday due to a planned protest on the Serbian side of the border.

According to the official notice, Serbian citizens have announced a protest that will take place on March 14, 2026, in the territory of Serbia, near the border crossing.

Authorities said the protest is expected to include a road blockade for two hours, starting at 16:00 and lasting until 18:00, which could disrupt traffic in the area.

“We inform you that tomorrow, March 14, 2026, a protest has been announced at the Jarinjë Border Crossing on the territory of Serbia, with a road blockade expected for two hours from 16:00 to 18:00. Citizens are encouraged to avoid traveling through this crossing and choose other border points,” the statement said.

Officials advised travelers to use alternative border crossings to avoid delays and potential disruptions.
