Serbia Reports Arrest of Two Albanians Over Alleged War Crimes

Serbian authorities have reported the arrest of two Albanians at the Horgoš border crossing, suspected of war crimes committed in Kosovo in 1999.

The arrest was announced by Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić. The individuals are identified as X.E. (born 1976) and B.E. (born 1973). According to Dačić, they were detained upon entering Serbia.

Serbian media note that this is the first public announcement from the Interior Minister regarding the frequent arrests of former KLA members crossing through Serbia.
