Serbia’s Foreign Minister, Marko Gjurić representing the country that invests more in military armament than any other in the Balkans complained during today’s UN Security Council session that Kosovo is strengthening its defense capabilities.

Gjurić criticized Kosovo’s recent acquisition of kamikaze drones from Turkey, claiming that such moves “only deepen mistrust.”

“It risks escalating tensions. The procurement of kamikaze drones for the Kosovo Security Force undermines regional trust and contradicts the peace this Security Council seeks to uphold,” Gjurić said.
