Two Serbian citizens were detained by Kosovo Police after they illegally crossed the border along the Stublinë–Dobërqan road, near the town of Gjilan.

According to authorities, both individuals—adult males—were escorted to the local police station for questioning. The incident is being treated as an unauthorized entry into Kosovo territory.

“Two male suspects, Serbian nationals, were brought to the police station after illegally crossing the border via the Stublinë–Dobërqan route,” stated the police report.

Court Orders Issued for Further Legal Action

Following a court decision, the suspects’ identification documents were seized, and they have been ordered to appear in court on June 2 for further legal proceedings.

This incident adds to a series of heightened border security operations, particularly in regions with increased movement near administrative lines with Serbia.

Authorities have not yet provided details on the motive behind the illegal crossing, but investigations are ongoing.
