Saturday is fast approaching, bringing with it the highly anticipated World Cup 2026 qualifier between Albania and Serbia.
Today, the Albanian national team held a light training session in Tirana, which was closed to the public. However, according to Serbian media, a Serbian journalist managed to capture footage of what the team is preparing for the big match.
The session took place on a training pitch that is part of the Albanian Football Federation’s complex, right next to the “Air Albania” stadium, where the match will be played.
Albania’s head coach, Silvinho, reportedly took an active part in the training, even stepping in as a player at times — reminiscent of his glory days. He appeared to be very pleased with his squad, as evidenced by frequent shouts of “bravo”, according to the Serbian outlet Kurir.rs.
