The Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) has upheld an appeal by the Serbian List political entity regarding its non-certification by the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9, 2025.
In its decision, the ECAP annulled the CEC’s notification, stating that the Serbian List had submitted documentation in compliance with the General Election Law and accompanying CEC regulations.
The decision also highlighted that no formal resolution had been reached during the CEC’s voting process. Furthermore, the notification was deemed to contradict applicable legal provisions, prompting the ECAP to order the CEC to implement its ruling.
This development ensures the Serbian List’s participation in the upcoming elections, reinforcing adherence to electoral laws and processes in Kosovo.
