Branislav Nikolić, a deputy from the Serbian List, failed to obtain the necessary votes to be elected Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly representing the Serbian community.
In the voting session, Nikolić received 0 votes in favor, while 54 deputies voted against and 15 abstained.
This adds to the ongoing difficulties in forming the Assembly’s leadership, as both candidates from the Serbian List—Zlatan Elek and Branislav Nikolić—have failed to secure the required support, delaying the full constitution of the Kosovo legislature.
