During a detailed vehicle inspection, authorities discovered a box containing 50 rounds of 9×19 mm ammunition, suspected to be intended for unauthorized circulation.
In addition to the ammunition, police seized €9,500 and 26,000 Serbian dinars. Further inspection revealed one AK-47 round, a Serbian passport, a police union card, police uniform items, gloves, and a USB flash drive.
According to investigation sources, after consultation with the on-duty prosecutor, an immediate arrest order was issued, and the Investigations Unit has taken over the case.
The prosecutor also ordered a thorough search of Ugrenović’s home in Gorazhdevc – Pejë to examine the potential possession of illegal weapons or other prohibited materials.
Investigations are ongoing, and competent authorities are expected to determine whether the seized items were linked to organized activities or connected to security structures outside Kosovo.
