Mila Alečković, a Serbian professor of neuropsychology and anthropological psychiatry, has described Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić as a person with excessive psychopathic narcissism, who in fact does not act with honesty.

In an interview for Serbian television KTV, she commented on the president’s participation in the funeral of 14 victims who lost their lives in the collapse of the shelter at the Novi Sad railway station in Serbia.

“The psychological omnipotence and all-presence of that person at various events is very disturbing. The act of attending a memorial service is not bad in itself. It could be a humanitarian gesture, if it were not the case of a person with excessive psychopathic narcissism, who in fact does not do things honestly, but goes more to take a photo somewhere,” said Alečković.

Following this tragic incident, which claimed the lives of 14 people, the Serbian opposition, which accuses the authorities loyal to President Vučić of massive corruption and nepotism, has called for protests in Novi Sad. The protests are ongoing.

Vučić, a populist, and his allies reject these claims.
