Students from all universities in Serbia have made a direct request for the immediate dissolution of the Serbian Assembly and the declaration of extraordinary parliamentary elections, reports RKS NEWS.
According to them, this request is based on Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and comes as a response to the deepening political crisis in the country.
They have also called on all citizens to support a new electoral list, in which students and their causes would be represented.
“We believe that democracy is the only right way to resolve this level of political crisis, so we will support the list that students, in the blockade of all higher institutions in Serbia, will push forward to prevail the truths,” stated the students.
