On Saturday, January 18, at 11:52 AM, Serbian students and members of the diaspora spontaneously gathered at Place Edmond Michelet in Paris, near the Serbian Cultural Center, to express solidarity with ongoing student protests in Serbia.

Holding signs and banners with the slogan “Paris 11:52,” participants organized “15 minutes of silence for 15 victims of corruption in Serbia.”

According to the attendees, the event drew between 50 and 100 people, including Serbian tourists who happened to be in Paris at the time.

French journalists from Courrier des Balkans were present, showing interest in the demonstration and interviewing participants. Passersby also expressed curiosity and support for the messages shared at the gathering.

This act of solidarity sent a strong message to Serbian authorities, with participants accusing the government of corruption and declaring, “Your hands are bloody.”
