The Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia has been engaged in “mobilizing” displaced persons to vote in Kosovo’s parliamentary elections.
REL encountered some of them in Gračanica, including Živorad Petković from Vrnjačka Banja.
He said that he came to Kosovo without any problems by van, and while most vote in Mitrovica, he decided to vote in Gračanica.
Miodrag Marinković from the non-governmental organization Center for Affirmative Social Action (CASA), prior to the elections, stated that there is an awareness among members of the Serbian community that the boycott policy has failed, and that a large number of citizens will participate in Kosovo’s elections for the first time.
