In Pasjan, a protest by local Serbs from Anamorava began around noon in response to the arrest of five Serbs on Saturday morning, who are suspected of committing war crimes against the civilian population.

Several thousand Serbs have gathered for the protest, holding banners reading “They are arresting us to expel all Serbs,” “We demand that KFOR protect us,” and “Europe, why are you silent about the suffering of Serbs?”

Family members of the arrested Serbs are also present and are expected to address the crowd, reports Paparaci.

Kosovo Police have arrested four suspects—Dragan Ničić, Slobodan Jevtić, Dragan Cvetković, and Miloš Šoškić—in Pasjan near Gjilan, while Nenad Stojanović was arrested in the village of Boščë near Kamenica.

They are accused of committing war crimes against the civilian population.

The Basic Court in Pristina has ordered a one-month detention for the detainees, while the defense has announced plans to appeal the court’s decision.
