On Monday morning, snow covered Albania, causing temperatures to drop to minus 3 degrees Celsius.
The most affected areas are the villages of Dardha, Voskopoja, and Vithkuqi, while on the peaks of Biglla, the snow thickness reached up to 5 centimeters.
In these areas, the roads remain uncleared, and, as reported by Euronews.al, road authorities have stated that this situation is a result of the lack of new contracts with maintenance companies.
On the other hand, the Albanian Police has issued a warning for increased caution, urging people to be equipped with winter gear.
